When chain grocers declined to serve Charlotte's West Boulevard corridor, the West Boulevard Neighborhood Coalition decided to take matters into their own hands.

The non-profit began development of Three Sisters Market, an upcoming community grocer. The team brought seven roots aboard to support organizational development, business feasibility work, and to design the grocery store and community spaces in their multi-use community site.

We've been grateful to join with the Three Sisters and WBNC teams to support their work to bring fresh groceries to a thirty-year food desert.
